Appointments with our Team

minor_illness3Our Surgery has the benefit of having an extensive multi-disciplinary team, including Advanced Clinical Practitioners and Clinical Pharmacists, in order to best suit each patients needs.  Ultimately, this may mean that seeing a Doctor is not always necessary and you will be advised of the most appropriate Clinician to see when speaking with a member of staff.

Their role is to compliment the role of the GP’s.  The Advanced Clinical Practitioners have advanced skills to take a health history, examine, diagnose and treat patients, even refer if necessary.

If you require an urgent or same day access appointment, please ring the surgery in the morning, after 8am.

You may be asked to attend the surgery to see the Advanced Clinical Practitioner, who works alongside the GP and is able to deal with most things.  If the Advanced Clinical Practitioner feels you need to see the GP, they will arrange for you to be seen.

Alternatively it may be the case that you are able to see another member of our team to ensure you receive the most appropriate care.
